Kim Ki-hyun: "If you learn martial arts instead of studying law and praise the 'Dalnim', you get promoted"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the 27th, Kim Ki-hyun, a member of the Future United Party, criticized the recent prosecution personnel changes as a "back-alley gangster movie-like absurd drama."
On the 28th, Kim said on Facebook, "For those who want to become prosecutors and get promoted, here is the secret: don't waste time studying law."
He added, "Instead of studying law, first master martial arts techniques, and instead of a sense of justice that cares for victims of heinous sex crimes, especially those victimized by powerful authorities, cultivate the cruelty that kills them twice. Just be good at flattering with sweet talk like 'Our Moon, our Moon.' Oh, and after a fight, you’ll be hospitalized to rest well, and as a bonus, you’ll get a certification photo," sarcastically pointing out the situation.
This appears to refer to Jeong Jin-ung, who was promoted to Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office and Head of the Criminal Division 1 at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Jin Hye-won, who was promoted to Deputy Chief Prosecutor at the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office and Deputy Chief Prosecutor at the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office.

Kim criticized, "If you thoroughly ignore the Prosecutor General who naively talks about rule of law and principles without understanding the deep meaning of the royal decree issued as a public show, and protect the beloved son of a high-ranking official, you will be promoted quickly. Nowadays, if you want to succeed, never go near those who stubbornly complain about the rule of law," he said.
