On the 26th, MBC variety show 'Radio Star' featured HyunA, Kim Yo-han, actress Jang Young-nam, and Shin So-yul as guests.
During the broadcast, she performed the choreography of her new song 'Good Girl' with host Ahn Young-mi, saying, "Fans named this dance the lymph circulation dance. Many people around me told me to definitely dance with Young-mi unnie."
HyunA said that before appearing on the show, she sought advice from her boyfriend Lee Don, saying, "I wanted to ask what kind of conversation to have during the pre-meeting and what to talk about during the recording, but Lee Don laughed and asked if it was my first time on 'Radio Star'." She added, "When Don laughs, he just smiles mischievously with his mouth. He told me to be comfortable and said he was the senior, but I didn't want to ask, so I didn't."
She then revealed that Lee Don suffers from narcolepsy, saying, "I was hurt and cried because he answered carelessly while sleeping, but Don felt strange symptoms alone and visited the hospital." She continued, "He was diagnosed with narcolepsy, and I felt sorry for him. He is currently taking medication."
HyunA also disclosed the reason why she confessed to the public about her depression and panic disorder after three years.
HyunA said, "I have been taking medication for over five years. I have been suffering from the illness for nearly ten years. Somehow, I thought I could hide it." She added, "I was active while hiding the illness, but recently, I collapsed due to vasovagal syncope during a commercial shoot, causing inconvenience to the staff. However, I felt more sorry that many people I worked with just passed away. So, I thought I shouldn't hide it and decided to speak out."
She continued, "I thought it was right to talk about why this happened. I am also not good at saying no," adding, "So, while receiving treatment, I learned how to protect myself."
HyunA also introduced the 'eye exercise' she does whenever she feels distressed.

HyunA explained, "My thoughts keep spiraling, so whenever I have time, I do eye exercises. I imagine there is an object in front of my eyes, close my eyes, focus, and move my eyes left and right. If I close my eyes and concentrate as much as possible, doing thirty repetitions of left-right back-and-forth movements once, I can't think of anything else. If you have panic disorder, at first, doing thirty repetitions is difficult."
