Professor Seo appeared on the Korean Medical Association's YouTube channel that day and said, "Even parasites do not kill their hosts. The government is worse than parasites."
He added, "Those who live off the people's taxes (the government) should ensure that the people pay taxes well and live diligently, but they are failing to do so and, moreover, are threatening the health of the people, which is regrettable," and said, "Parasites live as quietly as possible inside the host for their own purposes."
He also claimed, "This government is ruining not only the present but also the future. What is even harder to endure is that they are attacking the doctors fighting COVID-19 from behind," and said, "This is something unimaginable even in the world of parasites."
Regarding the establishment of a public medical school, he said, "I suspect it is to comfortably admit the children of acquaintances into medical school," and added, "If they care about public health, they should not unilaterally ignore the voices of doctors."

He continued, "I believe doctors should be intelligent and diligent, but I am not sure if the children entering the public medical school will be like that. They themselves will receive treatment at the 'Big 5 hospitals,' but they want others to receive this kind of (public medical school) treatment," he pointed out.
