[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] More than 40 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Incheon.
On the 26th, according to Incheon city officials, quarantine authorities recently conducted comprehensive testing on worshippers at 'Joonim's Church' in Simgok-dong, Seo-gu. During this process, it was confirmed that more than 20 people were infected with COVID-19.
As of 2 p.m. on the same day, a total of 28 confirmed COVID-19 cases related to the church have been identified in the Incheon area (including previously confirmed cases).
Additionally, five new confirmed cases have been reported in connection with 'Galilee Church' in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.
Furthermore, additional confirmed cases have emerged across various areas in Incheon, bringing the total number of new confirmed cases, including the church cluster infections, to over 40.
