Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters Holds Emergency Video Conference for Proactive Response to Typhoon Bavi
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters is taking preemptive measures in preparation for the northward approach of Typhoon 'Bavi'.
On the morning of the 26th, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters held an emergency situation inspection video conference led by Director Lee Hyung-cheol at the headquarters building in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, to prepare for the northward approach of Typhoon Bavi and the spread of COVID-19.
The Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters decided to maintain an emergency response system according to each situation stage following the issuance of the typhoon warning. Additionally, the headquarters and fire stations will activate the Emergency Rescue Control Team to proactively respond to typhoon damage.
Furthermore, they also checked infection prevention and response measures due to the spread of COVID-19.
