On the 25th, Gwangju City announced that A, registered as Gwangju case number 284 on the previous day (24th), attended three worship services at a church in Gakhwa-dong, Buk-gu, and specimen tests were conducted on close contacts.
A attended the Liberation Day rally held in Gwanghwamun, Seoul on the 15th, underwent specimen testing at Chosun University Hospital in Gwangju, and was subsequently confirmed positive.
As a result of the epidemiological investigation on A, it was found that A attended the church worship services three times in total: twice on the morning and afternoon of the 16th, and once on the 19th.
The Buk-gu Public Health Center in Gwangju urgently set up a temporary screening clinic in front of the church and has been conducting nighttime specimen tests on church members who had contact with A since 8 p.m. that day.
