[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City announced on the 25th that the Mayor's Scholarship Association will select 342 recipients across five fields this year and provide a total of 674 million KRW in scholarships.
The selection fields are divided into Talent Development, Multi-child, Marine & Logistics Tourism Specialization, Special Skills (Literature, Arts, Technical fields), and Gomduri (students with disabilities). The scholarship amount per person is up to 2 million KRW.

Applications are open until the 18th of next month. Interested applicants can refer to the Pohang Mayor's Scholarship Association website. Additional points are applied for recipients of National Basic Livelihood Security, children from single-parent families, multi-child and multicultural families, families with disabilities, and disaster-affected households.
