On the 24th, Dongbu Fire Station announced that it held a 'Special Vehicle Fire Suppression Training' at a tourist hotel in Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City to improve the operation skills of the aerial ladder truck.
This training was promoted to ensure prompt and safe response at disaster sites through thorough equipment management and mastery, without neglecting training that requires expertise even during heat waves and the COVID-19 situation.
The main contents included training for situation transmission by related parties such as self-defense fire brigades in case of fire at lodging facilities, evacuation drills, initial extinguishing training using fire extinguishers and hydrants, special vehicle operation training such as aerial ladder trucks, search and rescue training by fire dispatch teams, fire suppression training, and on-site first aid training.
