On the 24th, Lee Hak-joo appeared on KBS Joy's entertainment program 'Ask Anything'.
During the broadcast, Lee Soo-geun said upon seeing Lee Hak-joo, "Your face looks better. Are you dating? Say yes to boost the ratings," which brought laughter.
Lee Hak-joo said, "I am 32 years old this year. Because of my villain image in dramas, people see me as harsh. I'm worried because they are afraid of me." He added, "I played villains in the movies 'Watching' and 'Collectors', and in the drama 'The World of the Married'. The most representative villain role was in 'The World of the Married'.
When Lee Soo-geun asked, "I haven't watched the drama, but what makes you say that? Are you trash in the story?" Seo Jang-hoon replied, "Yes," causing laughter.
Lee Soo-geun said, "Your eyes are alive. You play villains so well in dramas." He added, "There is something in Hak-joo's gaze. You should get double eyelid surgery."
Hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon suggested a solution: "If you're worried about your villain image, try taking on good roles from now on. If you play a lovable character in a bright drama and that drama becomes a hit, your scary image will be forgotten."
He continued, "This is the most important time. You must have gone through a lot, but now people recognize you more. You must have struggled a lot before 'The World of the Married', but from now on, you need to focus and walk your own path. That is important."
Lee Soo-geun also added, "Actor Park Sung-woong played a villain in the movie 'New World', but now he also does comedy and melodrama. You could become exactly that kind of case."
