According to SK Group on the 24th, an employee at the SK Group headquarters in Seorin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection. SK Group plans to close the headquarters on the 25th.
The employee reportedly came to work at the Seorin headquarters on the 20th and was diagnosed positive after showing suspicious symptoms and undergoing testing. The confirmed employee worked on the 16th floor of the Seorin headquarters.
SK Group stated, "Some essential workers have been sent home, and the date for resuming work will be announced later," adding, "Since the confirmed employee worked from home and only came to the office for one day on the 20th for work-related reasons, the number of contacts is not large."
