COVID-19 Case Confirmed at LG Chem Poland Plant... No Production Disruption
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] A confirmed case of COVID-19 has occurred at LG Chem's business site in Poland.
According to the industry on the 24th, five employees at LG Chem's electric vehicle battery factory in Wroclaw, Poland, were recently diagnosed with COVID-19. It is known that the confirmed cases include both Korean and foreign nationals.
LG Chem stated that since the confirmed cases are office workers, there is no disruption to the production line operation.
According to LG Chem, the building where the confirmed cases worked was temporarily closed and disinfection measures were completed.
All personnel who had direct or indirect contact with the confirmed cases underwent diagnostic testing, and those whose movements overlapped were all switched to remote work and instructed to get tested. Necessary personnel are under self-quarantine.
