On the 20th, Dongin established the "Yongdam Dam and Seomjingang Dam Flood Damage Task Force," led by Representative Attorney Lee Seongbo as the head of the support team. The task force lawyers will directly provide legal consultations in the affected areas and recruit plaintiffs to facilitate the convenience of the victims.
If the Ministry of Environment's investigation reveals negligence by Korea Water Resources Corporation, and affected local governments or residents proceed with lawsuits, Dongin plans to actively cooperate with related local governments and residents' organizations to support victims in conducting lawsuits with minimal financial burden.
