Mandatory Mask-Wearing Sticker Attachment in Multi-Use Facilities in the Province
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Hampyeong County Public Health Center in Jeollanam-do is making every effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 community infections.
The Hampyeong County Public Health Center announced on the 24th that, amid nationwide concerns over a resurgence of COVID-19 with around 300 new confirmed cases recently, it has attached 'Mandatory Mask Wearing in the Province' stickers.
The sticker attachment was carried out at 947 multi-use facilities in the region.
Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in July, no additional cases have occurred so far, and recently, diagnostic tests (including movement tracking) have been conducted for participants in gatherings in the Seoul metropolitan area such as Gwanghwamun.

Additionally, the county continues to monitor compliance with COVID-19 prevention and quarantine rules, such as providing hand sanitizers and maintaining user logs, at 1,676 facilities across 21 sectors including religious sites, commercial establishments, and entertainment venues within the region.
