Public Procurement Service Announces 81 Construction Bids Including Incheon Urban Railway Geomdan Extension Section 2

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Public Procurement Service announced on the 23rd that it will conduct bids for a total of 81 construction projects worth approximately 567.9 billion KRW over five days starting from the 24th.
The bids include 62 projects (77% of the total), such as the demand from the Incheon Metropolitan City Urban Railway Construction Headquarters for the "Incheon Urban Railway Line 1 Geomdan Extension Section 4 Construction Project," which will be subject to region-restricted bidding or mandatory regional joint contracts.
Through this, the Public Procurement Service expects that regional companies will win contracts worth about 271 billion KRW (48% of the total) based on construction payments. Among these, region-restricted bidding projects, where only local companies participate, are expected to amount to 34 projects worth approximately 39.5 billion KRW.
By region, Incheon leads with orders worth 354.3 billion KRW, followed by Gyeongnam with 58.4 billion KRW, and Gyeonggi with 54.3 billion KRW. Other regions will receive orders totaling approximately 100.9 billion KRW.
Among the scheduled construction projects, large-scale projects worth over 30 billion KRW account for about 61% (374.5 billion KRW) of the total.
Among these, three projects including the "Incheon Urban Railway Line 1 Geomdan Extension Section 2 Construction Project" (approximately 126.9 billion KRW) will be bid under the comprehensive evaluation bidding system, and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Mokpo Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office's demand for the "Mokpo North Port Fishing Vessel Berth Construction Project" (approximately 30 billion KRW) will be bid under the comprehensive review bidding system.

Other projects will be executed under the comprehensive review bidding system (19.5 billion KRW), cultural heritage repair comprehensive evaluation bidding system (1.5 billion KRW), qualification review (170.7 billion KRW), and negotiated contracts (1.7 billion KRW), respectively.
