The United States, Brazil, Mexico, and India Lead in Number of Deaths in Order
The global cumulative death toll from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has surpassed 800,000.
According to the real-time international statistics site Worldometer, as of 8 p.m. on the 22nd, the total number of COVID-19 deaths worldwide was 803,784.
The global cumulative death toll from COVID-19 had exceeded 400,000 on June 6. In less than three months, the number of deaths has doubled.
The country with the highest number of deaths is the United States, with a total of 179,221. It was followed by Brazil, Mexico, and India.
