When the supply of domestic water suddenly stopped due to a partial malfunction of the apartment’s underground reservoir facilities, Ryu Kyung-gi, the Jungnang-gu District Mayor, along with relevant department staff, visited the site around 11:40 PM on the 21st, carefully assessed the situation, provided support such as water pumps and large pumps, and accurately informed residents of the current situation to ease their concerns.
They led the response on-site until 1 AM, successfully resolving the situation.
The district is also quick in responding to COVID-19.
On the 22nd, following a confirmed COVID-19 case among students attending a school in Jungnang-gu, the district immediately held a countermeasure meeting on-site and set up a temporary screening clinic within the school to conduct screening tests for faculty and all students. The district plans to promptly disclose the test results to residents as soon as they are available.
