As of 7:50 PM that day, police and quarantine officials from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency were waiting in front of Sarang Jeil Church in Jangwi-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, to carry out the search.
A police official explained, "The church's lawyer has not arrived yet, so we are waiting." A quarantine official also stated, "The police have started the search at Sarang Jeil Church, and the epidemiological investigation involving epidemiologists is expected to be possible late at night."
