Major Education Sites Including EBS Offer Smartphone Data Usage Without Deduction Until Year-End

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] When accessing major educational sites such as EBS via smartphone, users will be able to use them without any separate data deduction.
The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 21st that they have decided to extend the measure of not deducting data usage in cooperation with the three major telecommunications companies until the end of this year.
Not only elementary, middle, and high school students but also teachers and parents will not have their data usage deducted from their subscribed smartphone data plans when using these sites. Therefore, they can use the services freely without any additional charges.
