Gimcheon-si Postpones 1st Poster Drawing Contest... Scheduled for September 26
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gimcheon City, Gyeongbuk Province, announced on the 21st that the 'Happy together Gimcheon - Poster Drawing Contest,' originally scheduled for the 22nd, has been postponed to September 26th.
Although the contest was planned to be held with social distancing at Riverside Park, Gimcheon City explained that the decision to postpone was made in response to the recent resurgence of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
A Gimcheon City official stated, "Since this is the first time holding the poster drawing contest this year, and there was high interest from students and parents, it was difficult to decide to postpone," adding, "However, we made this unavoidable decision based on the judgment that nothing is more important than the safety of our citizens."
