Naju City Promotes 'Energy and ICT Companies Youth Work Experience Support Project'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 20th that it will actively promote the ‘Energy ICT Company Youth Work Experience Support Project.’
This project is an employment support policy that matches companies with new hiring demand in the energy and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) sectors with young job seekers, allowing them to build job competencies for the first three months and then encouraging regular employment.
Participating companies will receive support for youth labor costs of 2.3 million KRW per month (including allowances) and the four major insurance premiums for three months.
Upon conversion to regular employment, an additional 50% of the labor cost (up to 1 million KRW) and the four major insurance premiums will be supported for three months to effectively promote the actual employment success of young workers.
Earlier, the project executing organization, the Green Energy Research Institute, announced the recruitment of participating companies (3rd round) targeting social and economic activity corporations based on energy and ICT within Naju City from June.
The institute plans to finalize the selection of participating companies on the 22nd after a prescribed evaluation and post the results on the Jeollanam-do Integrated Job Information Network.
Youths wishing to apply (aged 18 to 39) can select their desired companies and submit applications on the Jeollanam-do Integrated Job Information Network starting from the 23rd.
After employment procedures such as document screening and interviews, successful candidates will be assigned to workplaces starting from the 10th of next month.
