Resident of Sinwol 1-dong, Yangcheon-gu Tests Positive for COVID-19 After Gwanghwamun Rally

The district announced that Mr. A, residing in Sinwol 1-dong, tested positive for COVID-19. He is the 91st confirmed case in Yangcheon-gu.
Mr. A attended a rally in Gwanghwamun on the 15th and showed symptoms such as a runny nose. On the 19th, a specimen was collected at the Yangcheon-gu Public Health Center screening clinic, and he tested positive on the 20th.
The district has requested a bed at a nationally designated hospital for Mr. A's transfer, and once the transfer is completed, disinfection will be carried out at the confirmed patient's residence and surrounding areas. Mr. A has one cohabitant, who has been instructed to self-isolate and is currently undergoing testing.
Through basic epidemiological investigation, the movement path will be examined, and if there are any routes subject to disclosure, they will be published on the Yangcheon-gu blog.
As of August 20, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Yangcheon-gu has reached 91.
