Suncheon City Conducts 2020 Social Survey with Jeollanam-do
Household Visits for Survey from August 21 to September 2
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City will conduct the '2020 Jeollanam-do·Suncheon City Social Survey' together with Jeollanam-do from the 21st of this month to September 2nd.
The survey targets household heads and members aged 15 or older in 1,008 sample households within 84 survey districts, and investigators will visit households in person to conduct the survey.
The survey contents include 30 common items of Jeollanam-do such as household/family, environment, transportation, safety, job creation policies, social welfare, population growth policies, and 20 special items characteristic of Suncheon City, totaling 50 items across 4 sectors.
Suncheon City plans to conduct thorough quarantine measures by providing infection prevention and safety management guideline training to investigators to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Investigators wearing identification badges will visit target households wearing masks and sanitizing their hands before conducting face-to-face interviews.
The data collected through the social survey will be strictly protected according to Article 33 (Protection of Confidentiality) of the Statistics Act and will not be used for purposes other than statistical compilation.
This survey will be used as basic data for policy development to create a happy and continuously developing Jeollanam-do and Suncheon by understanding subjective awareness related to quality of life and social interests in citizens' daily lives.
A Suncheon City official said, "We ask for the active cooperation of the target households so that the Suncheon City social survey conducted annually with Jeollanam-do can be used as basic data for policy establishment in city and provincial administration."
