Yeosu City Recruiting Companies to Participate in 'Energy ICT Sector Youth Work Experience Support'
Support for Youth Wages and 4 Major Insurance Fees Up to 6 Months, Applications Open Until the 26th of This Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu City has taken the initiative to respond proactively to the transition to a digital economy amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Yeosu City announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the "Youth Work Experience Support in the Energy and ICT Sectors" project to drive the growth of energy new industry and ICT-related companies, foster professional talent, and expand youth job creation.
Eligibility for application includes individual and corporate businesses located in Yeosu City as of the announcement date, holding certificates such as technology innovation SMEs, venture companies, or small and medium-sized enterprises related to the energy new industry and ICT, and companies with at least 70% of regular employees among their full-time workers (minimum of 5 employees).
Participating companies will receive support for labor costs of 2.3 million KRW per month (including allowances) and four major social insurance premiums for three months per newly hired youth, and if converted to regular employment, an additional 50% of labor costs and social insurance premiums will be supported for another three months.
Companies wishing to participate can apply by mail (13, Yulchon Sandan 4-ro, Haeryong-myeon, Suncheon-si) or email to the project executing agency, Jeonnam Technopark (Enterprise Support Group Job Center), by the 26th of this month.
Once participating companies are selected, youth seeking employment will be recruited through the integrated job information network.
