Changwon City Council Holds Final Report Meeting on Research Service Including Gaya Relics Investigation

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] The Changwon City History and Culture Research Association, a research group composed of members of the Changwon City Council in Gyeongnam, has launched a project on the 20th to systematically investigate and study the Gaya relics in the Changwon area, grasp the overall status, and based on this, organize, preserve, and utilize the relics to create an educational site for history, while developing tourism resources and establishing an urban foundation that coexists with history.
The report meeting on this day was the final report summarizing the results of the research, which included literature review and field surveys on Changwon's Gaya relics conducted by the research team over a five-month research period. The final report will be submitted and concluded after collecting opinions discussed on this day.

Gong Chang-seop, the representative member of the research association, said, “We will do our best to lead active research activities, such as visiting sites that need improvement based on the project results, to help Changwon’s history and cultural policies and to prepare effective policies.”
