Gwangju Buk-gu, Operation of Customized Lifelong Learning Programs with Resident Participation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Moon In) announced on the 20th that it is recruiting 17 resident groups to participate in the ‘2020 Second Half Saengdonggam School’ and 30 resident instructors to lead the ‘Wisdom of Life Class’ until the 26th.
This program will operate from next month until December and was prepared to provide lifelong learning opportunities to residents who have difficulties in learning due to time and spatial constraints.
Saengdonggam School allows residents to select courses and instructors registered at the Buk-gu Lifelong Learning Center and apply, after which the selected instructor visits the resident group to conduct lectures.
The Wisdom of Life Class recruits capable resident instructors with their own experiences and know-how to operate various life and cultural programs such as barista and beauty.
Any resident group of 10 or more people or residents with their own talents can apply.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Education Support Division of Buk-gu Office or via email, and further details can be found on the Buk-gu Lifelong Learning Center website.
