Loan Industry Donates 30 Million Won for Flood Damage Recovery Support Fund
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] The Korea Credit Finance Association announced on the 20th that it has donated 30 million won to the National Disaster Relief Association to aid in the recovery from the heavy rain damage.
This donation was jointly collected by the Credit Finance Association and 22 major lending companies including MH Finance Credit, A-One Credit Capital, Hanbit Asset Management Credit, Nexgen Finance Credit, and INB Asset Management Credit.
The funds will be used to support disaster relief supplies and the restoration of flood-affected areas. The lending industry has consistently raised and donated funds whenever national disasters occurred, such as last year's wildfires in Gangwon Province and this year's COVID-19 pandemic.
