Geochang-gun Requests Testing for Participants of Gwanghwamun Rally Amid 'COVID-19 Emergency'
Among 31 Identified Individuals, 27 Tested, 21 Confirmed 'Negative', 6 Pending Test Requests
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 19th that it is conducting comprehensive COVID-19 testing for residents who attended the rally at Gwanghwamun, Seoul.
The county has identified that 35 residents attended the rally. Additionally, it is mobilizing all administrative resources to identify those who attended individually.
Among the 31 identified individuals so far, 27 have been tested, with 21 receiving negative results. Six are awaiting test requests.
Furthermore, the identities of four individuals who have not been identified are being confirmed through attendees, and they are being encouraged to get tested as soon as possible.
