MS "Internet Explorer Can Still Be Used... Only Some Services Will Be Discontinued"
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Contrary to some reports that Microsoft (MS) will discontinue support for its web browser Internet Explorer next year, it has been confirmed that the service will continue to be supported.
On the 19th, a representative from Microsoft Korea explained, "Support for Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) is not ending; rather, the 'Microsoft 365' apps and services will no longer support IE 11."
Earlier, MS announced this fact through the developer community. Starting August 17 next year, the subscription-based Office 'Microsoft 365' will not be usable on IE 11. Support for the collaboration tool 'Teams' app will end from November 30 this year.
This means that some of MS's Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings will not be available on IE 11. It does not mean that IE will disappear entirely.

In fact, MS's Life Cycle documentation states that IE 11 follows the lifecycle policy of Windows 10. As long as Windows 10 continues to be supported, IE 11 can still be used.
