KOSPI Maintains Rebound Trend in Afternoon, Holding Above 2360 Level
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The KOSPI continues its rebound trend into the afternoon session.
On the 19th, the KOSPI opened at 2,370.87, up 22.63 points (0.96%) from the previous trading day. Individual investors, who had sold more than 500 billion won the day before, turned to buying within a day, maintaining a steady rise within 1% during the session. As of 1:14 PM, it is recording 2,363.40, up 15.16 points (0.65%) from the previous day.
By trading participants, individual investors are leading the market with net purchases of 185.9 billion won. On the other hand, institutions and foreigners are net sellers with 121.3 billion won and 74.5 billion won, respectively.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung C&T, Hyundai Motor, LG Household & Health Care, NAVER, and Samsung Biologics are rising, while SK Hynix, LG Chem, and Kakao are falling.
The KOSDAQ index is also maintaining its rebound. After starting the day with gains and showing a strong rise of over 2% in the early session, the KOSDAQ index slightly reduced its gains and is maintaining an increase around 1.5%. As of 1:14 PM, it is recording 814.28, up 14.06 points (1.76%) from the previous day.

By trading participants, contrary to the KOSPI, foreigners and institutional investors are net buyers with 87.2 billion won and 14.4 billion won, respectively. Meanwhile, individual investors are net sellers with 68.5 billion won.
