Hwasun-gun, Opening of 'J. Ahn Solo Exhibition' at Cheonsagwan
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 19th that the special exhibition "CITY SPECTRUM" by renowned photographer Jay Ahn opened at the Cheonbul Cheontap Photo Culture Center (hereafter Cheonsagwan) to commemorate its 3rd anniversary, running until October 25.
Jay Ahn, president of the Korean Women Photographers Association, showcased high-quality works closely connected to the femininity of Hwasun through the 2018 exhibition "Women Photographers Exhibition - Variations of Memory and Imagination."
Since 2007, Jay Ahn has held solo exhibitions featuring her Urban Color series (New York), Urban Color series (Cuba), and Urban Color series (Cheonggyecheon).
The "CITY SPECTRUM" exhibition highlights Jay Ahn’s artistic world and is organized into three sections: Exhibition Hall 1 "COLOR & CUBA," Exhibition Hall 2 "CITY COLORS," and "Cheonggyecheon - Time to Remember."
The exhibition features 43 photographic works.
This exhibition, which fully reflects Jay Ahn’s challenging journey to quietly express her unique color over a long time, is expected to offer warm comfort to those weary from COVID-19.
The photo exhibition will be conducted in compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
Visitors are limited to fewer than 10 people per hour, and temperature checks, visitor log registration, and mask-wearing are mandatory.
