HelloNature, App Revamped with Focus on Food Content
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] HelloNature announced on the 19th that it has revamped its application (app) focusing on food content to build a differentiated mobile shopping environment.
The newly revamped HelloNature app moves away from the traditional method of simply categorizing products by category and instead prominently features magazine-style content that tells stories of various foods and ingredients in line with the latest trends.
Unlike providing one-dimensional product information, the app introduces popular ingredients, interesting food cultures, and new recipes to spark customers' curiosity and interest, naturally suggesting related products.
The ‘Food Trip’ that appears first on the app screen is a representative example. This content selects a specific country to introduce its traditional food and culture while naturally showing related ingredients that can be easily and conveniently prepared at home.
For its first country, Food Trip selected Mexico, showcasing detailed recipes for traditional Mexican dishes such as tortilla, taco, fajita, and elote, along with related products like tortilla, salsa sauce, corn, lettuce, and Isigny butter.
The main menu has also been simplified. It consists of ‘Home,’ where products and content can be viewed at a glance; ‘Recommended Products,’ which informs about new and special-priced items; ‘Life Zone,’ specialized for specific lifestyles such as vegan, camping, and baby; and ‘Magazine,’ which introduces various recipes and food trends.
The search function has been enhanced to assist customers' shopping convenience. When customers search for specific foods or ingredients such as gambas, sweet potato, or samgyeopsal, they can easily check not only the products but also related food content like cooking methods, storage tips, and side dishes.
To celebrate this revamp, HelloNature will hold abundant events for customers until the 14th of next month, including shopping cart support funds and discount coupon giveaways.
The shopping cart support fund event will provide a total of 24 million KRW over four weeks to 101 people weekly through a lottery, including 1 person winning 1 million KRW in HelloCash points and 100 people winning 50,000 KRW in HelloCash points. To enter, customers simply add the products they want to purchase to their shopping cart and press the ‘Enter’ button.
Additionally, HelloNature will give discount coupons that increase in discount rate according to the cumulative number of purchases. Upon logging into the app, a 10% discount coupon is automatically given, with additional 20% and 30% discount coupons provided after the first and second purchases, respectively.
