View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 18th that it held the ‘e-Mobility Talent Development Project Course’ for 20 students majoring in industrial fields at vocational high schools from the 13th to the 15th at Naju Jungheung Gold Spa.
This project included basic education lectures and convergence practice for nurturing future talents in the e-mobility field, as well as a Makerthon competition.
Participants learned the basic theory of e-mobility technology and designed 3D files as teams using Fusion 360 to creatively conceptualize future mobility. They also went through the process of final production and demonstration of products made with 3D printers.
The event provided basic education through lectures by academic experts in the e-mobility field, and the convergence practical training was conducted in a Makerthon format with the theme of the Kingka Festival, assisted by professional researchers from a metal 3D printer company.
The Makerthon competition awarded the team of Lee Yujin from Korea Port Logistics High School’s Logistics Equipment Technology Department and the team of Go Haneul from Goheung Industrial Science High School’s Drone Industry Department.
Lee Hyun-hee, Director of Future Talent Division, said, “Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education will make further efforts to strengthen creative convergence vocational high school education that leads future society.”

Meanwhile, Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education reorganized the e-mobility department at Yeonggwang Technical High School in May through an agreement with Yeonggwang County and Daema Industrial Complex for student recruitment next year.
