Cancellation of 'Tenet' Movie Premiere and Conference Events

Premier Screening and Release Proceed as Planned
Distributor Warner Bros. Korea announced on the 18th that it is canceling the events for the movie Tenet due to the resurgence of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The press screening and conference events scheduled for the 19th and 20th, respectively, have been canceled. A representative explained, “Social distancing measures in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas have been raised to Level 2,” adding, “This cancellation is in accordance with the government’s ban on indoor events with more than 50 people.” They asked for understanding, stating, “This was an unavoidable decision made to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect everyone’s health.” The premiere screenings on the 22nd and 23rd will proceed as planned. The release on the 26th will also go ahead as scheduled.
