[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) will hold the 'Post-COVID: Policy Idea Contest' from August 17 to September 11 to seek effective response measures in the post-COVID-19 era.
This contest was prepared to discover innovative and diverse policy ideas that correspond to various social and economic changes newly emerging due to COVID-19.
The contest theme is "Policies Leading Change and Sharing Hope in the Post-COVID-19 Era."
The contest contents include ▲ Untact (non-face-to-face) era, ideas for non-face-to-face public services ▲ ideas for revitalizing the local economy such as consumption promotion and job creation ▲ ideas for victim support and livelihood stabilization ▲ and other feasible policy ideas suitable for the post-COVID-19 era.
Anyone can participate, including Gwanak-gu residents, organizations located in Gwanak-gu, office workers, and students, and multiple ideas can be submitted repeatedly.
Submissions will be accepted in a non-face-to-face manner according to social distancing measures, and participation in the contest is easily possible through the 'Online Gwanakcheong' website.
Individuals or teams can submit multiple works, but if two or more works are selected as excellent proposals, only the highest-rated proposal will be recognized.
This contest will select excellent proposals based on the novelty and effectiveness of ideas, and a total prize of 4 million KRW will be awarded to the winners.
The grand prize winner (individual or team) will receive 1 million KRW, three excellent winners (individuals or teams) will each receive 500,000 KRW, and five encouragement winners (individuals or teams) will each receive 300,000 KRW. The selected excellent proposals will be announced on the 'Online Gwanakcheong' website in September.
