Coast Guard Headquarters to Hire 166 Experienced Personnel in 4 Fields Including Policy Promotion and Investigation

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The Korea Coast Guard will hire a total of 166 experienced personnel across 14 fields, including policy promotion, marine weather, investigation, helicopter maintenance, and rescue, to strengthen on-site expertise.
The number of recruits for the rank of Lieutenant is 11 in total: 5 for policy communication, 1 for aviation business, 1 for marine weather, 2 for security operations, and 2 for rescue.
For the rank of Police Officer, 155 will be recruited: 6 for promotion, 2 for architecture, 25 for investigation, 5 for shipbuilding technology, 25 for helicopter maintenance, 11 for information and communication, 66 for special duty (rescue), and 15 for special duty (special forces).
The successful candidates will be assigned to various departments such as the headquarters, local offices, patrol vessels, and aviation units to perform safety management duties.
Applications can be submitted through the Korea Coast Guard recruitment website (http://gosi.kcg.go.kr) until the 27th of this month. Final successful candidates by field will be announced in early December after practical tests, aptitude and physical fitness tests, document screening, and interviews.
