"Health Concerns" Prime Minister Abe Undergoes Examination at Tokyo Hospital
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is undergoing a hospital examination.
Kyodo News reported that Prime Minister Abe entered Keio University Hospital in Tokyo around 10:30 a.m. on the 17th. Although the exact reason was not disclosed, it appears to be a "routine health checkup."
Prime Minister Abe has been receiving health checkups at Keio University Hospital about once every six months. Most recently, he had one on June 13.
Recently, Abe has been surrounded by rumors of health issues.
The photo magazine "Flash," released on the 4th, reported that on July 6, Abe was seen coughing up blood in his office at the official residence.

In response, Yoshihide Suga, Chief Cabinet Secretary and spokesperson for the Japanese government, avoided directly answering questions about the coughing up blood but explained that there are no health problems with Prime Minister Abe.
