Stacy Lewis (USA) claimed the title after a sudden-death playoff on the final day of the LPGA Tour Scottish Women's Open (total prize money $1.5 million) held at Renaissance Golf Club in North Berwick, Scotland (par 71, 6,427 yards) in the early morning of the 17th (Korean time). This was her first win of the season and her 13th career victory, coming 2 years and 11 months after the Cambia Portland Classic in September 2017. The winner's prize was $225,000 (approximately 267 million KRW).
Lewis married Houston University golf coach Jared Chadwell in 2016, gave birth to her first daughter in October 2018, and returned to competition in January 2019. Starting the day one stroke behind in second place, she recorded three birdies, two bogeys, and one double bogey. On the first hole of the resumed playoff at the 18th hole (par 4), she immediately sank the winning birdie. The playoff was triggered after Azahara Mu?oz (Spain) lost two strokes, joining Cheyenne Knight (USA) and Emily Pedersen (Denmark) in the sudden-death contest.
Danielle Kang (USA) ended her bid for a third consecutive win tied for 5th place (4-under 280), falling one stroke short of the playoff. For Korea, Jeon In-ji (26, KB Financial Group) added two under par to finish tied for 7th (3-under 281), marking her first top 10 finish of the season. Yang Hee-young (31, Woori Financial Group) tied for 29th (3-over 287), Son Yu-jeong (19, Volvik) tied for 33rd (4-over 288), and Kim In-kyung (32, Hanwha Q CELLS) finished tied for 58th (10-over 294).
