View original image[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Monday the 17th, which is a temporary holiday, is expected to be mostly clear nationwide with continued heatwave conditions.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted on the 16th that most regions across the country will have heatwave warnings issued, with daytime temperatures rising above 33 degrees Celsius and many places experiencing tropical nights.
However, between 3 PM on the 16th and 3 AM on the 17th, northern Gyeonggi and northern Gangwon Yeongseo are expected to have showers in the early morning. The expected precipitation is 5 to 20 mm.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 30 and 37 degrees Celsius.
