Heavy Rain Advisory Lifted Across Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] The Korea Meteorological Administration announced on the 15th that the heavy rain advisory issued for the entire Seoul area has been lifted as of 12:30 PM.
On this day, near the end of the longest rainy season on record, very heavy rain fell in Seoul and the metropolitan area.
The Korea Meteorological Administration also stated that the heavy rain advisory issued for Incheon, Ganghwa, and Ongjin has been lifted,
and the heavy rain advisory issued for 24 locations in Gyeonggi Province, including Suwon, has also been lifted. The affected areas are Suwon, Goyang, Seongnam, Bucheon, Namyangju, Ansan, Anyang, Siheung, Paju, Uijeongbu, Gimpo, Gwangju, Gwangmyeong, Gunpo, Hanam, Yangju, Guri, Uiwang, Pocheon, Yangpyeong, Dongducheon, Gapyeong, Gwacheon, and Yeoncheon.
Heavy rain advisories remain in effect for Yongin, Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, Osan, Icheon, Anseong, and Yeoju.
