Gyeongnam Office of Education Announces Personnel Decisions for 454 Education Officials as of September 1
206 Kindergarten, Elementary, and Middle School Principals, 136 Vice Principals, and 112 Teachers Announced
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] On the 14th, the Gyeongnam Office of Education carried out the regular personnel appointments effective September 1, 2020, for 454 educational public officials including kindergarten, elementary, and secondary school principals, vice principals, master teachers, and teachers.
The office reappointed experienced educational administrators with broad experience in education administration at the headquarters or education support offices to prepare for future education, and newly appointed capable superintendents who are well acquainted with the characteristics of the regions and possess integrity and educational philosophy in four areas.
Key personnel appointments include Park Da-mi as Director of Early Childhood Special Education, Ahn Tae-hwan as Director of Creative Talent, and Shim Hyun-ho as Director of Physical Education, Arts, and Health at the headquarters. Additionally, education support office superintendents appointed were Ryu Min-hwa for Tongyeong, Wang Su-sang for Changnyeong, Baek Woon-hyun for Hadong, and Jeong Jin-yong for Geochang.
Among the appointments of principals and vice principals including educational specialists, a total of 454 personnel were promoted, transferred, or reassigned: 10 kindergarten principals, 113 elementary principals, 83 secondary principals, 8 kindergarten vice principals, 63 elementary vice principals, 65 secondary vice principals, 21 new kindergarten teachers, 83 new elementary teachers, and 8 new secondary teachers.
