On the 13th, Kang Sung-hoon stated on his Instagram, "Hello, this is Kang Sung-hoon. I firmly deny the recent posts about me on online communities as absolutely groundless, and I have filed a lawsuit today."
He continued, "There have been malicious spreads of baseless false information like this in the past, but I have judged that it has reached an intolerable level, so from now on, I will respond strongly without leniency."
Earlier, on the 12th, a netizen who identified herself as an 18-year-old high school girl posted on an online community, "I accidentally bumped into Kang Sung-hoon, causing everything he was holding to fall, and he angrily said 'Hey, hey' to me. I apologized three or four times, but Kang Sung-hoon still pushed me away with an angry face, telling me to get lost."
She added, "He pushed me so hard that I almost fell backward, leaving hand marks. The next day, while talking to a friend about the incident, Kang Sung-hoon happened to overhear. I was subjected to every curse except slurs and sexual insults, and I remember receiving more insults that day than I ever have before."
She also said, "I was scared, kept my head down, avoided eye contact, and apologized, but Kang Sung-hoon put his finger on my chin, suddenly turned my head, and asked if I knew what I did wrong." She added, "I admit that I was caught cursing Kang Sung-hoon and accidentally spilled trash, but unless one side intentionally bumped into the other, isn't a collision mutual?"
The post has since been deleted from the community.
