COVID-19 Overcoming Support 'Online Instrument Performance Video Relay Concert' Held... Online and Offline Linked 1 Student 1 Instrument Classes for Elementary Students, Second Half 'Sound of Seocho' Recital Also Scheduled
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eunhee Cho) is conducting a contest for the 'Online Instrument Performance Video Relay Concert' to deliver messages of support for overcoming COVID-19 until the 17th.
This contest is targeted at elementary school students and parents who participated in remote one-on-one instrument coaching for four weeks last month. Students and parents selected for the video relay contest will receive the benefit of up to 8 online instrument coaching sessions.
The selected videos will be released through the 'Seocho-gu Elementary Wise Instrument Class' YouTube channel in the first week of next month.
Applications for the contest can be submitted through the Seocho Cultural Foundation website.
Additionally, to support students who have been disappointed by the lack of face-to-face classes, 'One-on-One Instrument Classes' combining online and offline sessions will resume in the second half of the year, allowing students to learn instruments by combining online and in-person lessons in line with the untact era.
After steadily improving skills through online and offline instrument classes, an O2O (online-offline linked) 'Sound of Seocho' recital will be held at the end of the semester.
The district will also build a web and app-compatible 'One Person One Instrument Online Platform' that is easy and convenient for all users interested in instrument education, including students (parents), schools, and instructors, to access.
The main services include instrument class application and operation, creating communication spaces by school, video viewing, and Q&A. The online platform will undergo pilot operation in the second half of this year and will be fully launched in March next year.
