“Should I Eat This?” Smart Order Glosent Signs Agreement with G-Valley Industrial Association

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Glosent, a company specializing in QR code smart orders, announced on the 13th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the G-Valley Industrial Association to promote smart order services and increase profits for small business owners.
Kim Taegun, CEO of Glosent, and Lee Jaegun, chairman of the G-Valley Industrial Association, met the day before at Daeryong Technotown in Guro-gu, Seoul, to sign the agreement.
According to the agreement, Glosent will supply smart order services to restaurants and cafes within the Gasan-dong Knowledge Industry Center, used by employees of about 10,000 member companies of the G-Valley Industrial Association. Various promotions will also be conducted to expand the smart order service.
The QR smart order service "Igeomeokulkka" allows customers to scan a QR code attached to the table at a restaurant or cafe with their smartphone to conveniently order and pay while seated at the table without needing to go to the counter. There is no need to wait in line or wait for staff while seated. It also offers the convenience of familiar online simple payment functions and requires no separate app installation?just scan the QR code with the smartphone camera.
An additional feature is the AlimTalk notification function, which confirms the exact order at the time of ordering. Notifications are sent to both users and store owners, and when the ordered food is ready, it is delivered to the user as a substitute for a vibrating bell.
Once an order is placed, the favorite function automatically registers the store as a regular, allowing orders next time without scanning the QR code.
Customers can place orders in advance before visiting the store and pick up packaged products through takeout orders, or they can order delivery from their office or home. Takeout and delivery orders are notified to the store owner via AlimTalk.
