Chonnam National University Hospital and ITI Technology Sign MOU to Foster Medical Industry
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam National University Hospital (Director Lee Sam-yong) announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with ITI Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Yuntae), a specialized company in the development and manufacturing of smart healthcare products, to foster the medical industry.
This agreement was promoted to provide patient-customized medical services using a smart healthcare system for the convenience of patients and medical treatment by both organizations.
About 20 officials from both organizations, including Director Lee Sam-yong and CEO Kim Yuntae, attended the signing ceremony held the day before, brightening the event.
According to the agreement, both organizations will promote ▲ operation of medical work and development of patient-customized care service technology using smart healthcare systems and cooperation in clinical trials ▲ joint business planning and policy support programs to foster the medical industry ▲ mutual cooperation in sharing technology development and research utilizing it ▲ and other matters requiring mutual cooperation for the promotion of both organizations' work.
Director Lee Sam-yong said, “Currently, Jeonnam National University Hospital is accelerating the establishment of a big data and AI-based smart hospital, including the next-generation integrated hospital information system and the creation of a bio-health startup nurturing platform,” adding, “Through this agreement, we hope that both organizations will become key players in creating medical value based on smart healthcare systems leading future medicine.”
