First Student Infection Reported in Ulsan, Schools on Alert

This is the first time a student in Ulsan has tested positive for COVID-19.
On the 13th, Ulsan City and the Office of Education ordered the suspension of in-person classes at five nearby schools, including the school the student attended.
The city announced that a 13-year-old female second-year student, Ms. A, attending Cheongok Middle School in Buk-gu, tested positive for COVID-19.
It was investigated that this student is a relative of Mr. B (31), a resident of Buk-gu who was confirmed as the 61st COVID-19 case in Ulsan on the 12th.
The Ulsan Office of Education suspended in-person classes and replaced them with remote learning at Cheongok Middle School, Dalcheon Middle School, Sangan Middle School, Dalcheon High School, and Dongcheon High School.
Ms. A reportedly visited a karaoke room in Buk-gu with Mr. B on the 9th from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
