Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju - Korea Electrical Safety Corporation Conducts Safety Inspections for Flooded Homes
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Samho) announced on the 12th that it conducted electrical safety inspections on houses damaged by flooding due to heavy rain in cooperation with the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters (Head Park Hwangjin).
This inspection was carried out on about 100 households in flood-damaged houses around Gwangju Songjeong Station and Shindeok Underpass in Songjeong 2-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju.
Employees of the Electrical Safety Corporation explained the situation to households needing electrical facility improvements to prevent safety accidents during this inspection, and took immediate action on minor issues such as poor contact terminals.
Additionally, they requested that circuit breakers be operated only after safety is ensured, and the prompt inspection reportedly received favorable reviews from residents.
