On the 12th, the KLPGA Tour announced, "After repeated discussions with the title sponsors KG Group and Edaily, the tournament has been canceled this year due to the sponsors' circumstances and will be held next year." This measure was taken out of concern over the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The tournament was scheduled to be held for three days starting from the 4th of next month at the Turning Point Golf Club in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. As a result, the KLPGA Tour has had four consecutive tournament cancellations and will enter a 'forced break' for one month.
