According to Hampyeong-gun on the 12th, around 9 a.m. that day, an elderly woman estimated to be in her mid-70s visited the county office and handed over an envelope containing 1 million won in cash.
The elderly woman left only the words, "Please use this for the residents affected by the recent heavy rain damage," and then disappeared suddenly.
She revealed only that she farms onions and other crops in Eomdam-myeon and is known not to have left her name.
