The party plans to discuss policies for Honam as well. Regarding the construction of a 'Honam Training Center,' they drew a line, saying, "It is not yet the stage to talk about it."
Kim Eun-hye, the United Future Party spokesperson, held a press conference at the communication center on the 12th and said, "We reflect on the shortcomings as a national party and will listen more to their (Honam's) voices."
On the same day, the party selected Assemblyman Jeong as the chairman of the National Integration Committee directly under the party leader and plans to approve it at the upcoming emergency committee meeting. The selection of affiliated committee members is also underway.
The nature of the Integration Committee is likely to become a 'Honam Committee' in practice. Spokesperson Kim said, "We have not properly listened to the voices of Honam so far, so we intend to listen to Honam's voices. To elaborate on the upcoming visit to Honam, sincerity will come only when the itinerary, actions, and policies precede." The party also plans to discuss policies for Honam within the National Integration Committee.
Within the party, there are reports that the establishment of a 'Honam Training Center' is also under consideration. Regarding this, Spokesperson Kim drew a line, saying, "It is not the stage to talk about it now."
The United Future Party also raised its voice regarding the 4th supplementary budget (supplementary budget). Spokesperson Kim said, "I watched the party-government-office meeting. I appreciate that voices within the party, such as raising disaster relief funds, were reflected," but criticized, "However, regarding the 4th supplementary budget, Democratic Party leader Lee Hae-chan said in his opening remarks to 'actively consider the supplementary budget,' but in the end, it was left unresolved."
He added, "As we have seen so far, I hope there will be no event where the president orders the supplementary budget as a favor after a long delay, and the party-government-office follow along. We proposed the 4th supplementary budget first, and we hope the government will expand the special disaster areas more, but it seems slow." He also said about the halt in discussions on the 4th supplementary budget, "We will look into it further."

Amid the party's election white paper citing the lack of a clear stance on impeachment as a failure, it was also revealed that Emergency Committee Chairman Kim Jong-in is willing to apologize personally. Spokesperson Kim explained, "Chairman Kim's view is that, in any case, there were shortcomings on our party's part regarding former President Park's impeachment," adding, "He said in a fundamental sense that we must heed the will of the people, and if we do not show an apology or heart for the past, we cannot talk about the future." However, regarding the timing or form, he was reserved, saying, "There will be a time someday."
