KOSPI Falls Below 2400 During Trading... KOSDAQ Also Drops Over 2%
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] The KOSPI index fell more than 20 points during the session, breaking below the 2400 level. The KOSDAQ market, which had shown a 12-day consecutive rise until recently, also experienced a decline of over 2%.
On the 12th, as of 9:46 AM, the KOSPI recorded 2398.49, down 20.18 points (0.83%) compared to the previous trading day. The KOSPI opened at 2414.78, down 0.16% from the previous day.
The KOSDAQ market also showed a decline of over 2%. The KOSDAQ was at 841.21, down 19.02 points (2.21%) from the previous trading day. The market opened at 858.88, down 1.35 points from the previous day.

The KOSDAQ had recorded 14 consecutive days of gains in 2009 and had started a 12-day consecutive rise until the 11th, but after closing down on the 11th, it has shown a two-day correction trend.
